Nick: Di was having the time of her life. If Di could design a job, it would be walking out in front of a theatre of people outdoors and entertaining them and getting them cheering. It was her perfect job. As a married couple, you are able to share your passion for golf and broadcasting… do you have the best jobs in the world?

There is nothing that gets the heart racing quite as much. I think Nick has compared it in the past to playing, of being on the first tee. There are a lot of people relying on you, teams, not just in vision, but behind the camera and in the gallery and we are all giving our absolute all because there is a huge amount of pride around making this kind of programming.

She went to the University of Newcastle where she studied German while playing golf and netball to a very high standard. She picked up her first set of golf clubs aged six, and has represented Cheshire Girls' and Cheshire Ladies' teams as well as playing in the Alfred Dunhill Links Pro-am event. Her first role with Sky Sports was as a runner, before becoming one of the presenters on the Sky Sports News channel.

Her move across to the golf department a few years later gave her the opportunity to cover European Tour, PGA Tour events and Major Championships; presenting, live reporting and hosting all around the world. Di is also a freelance reporter for the Golf Channel, conducting player interviews in Europe and live reporting. She is also a keen tennis player, yogi and swimmer. Finally she is an ambassador for On Course Foundation helping to rehabilitate wounded injured and sick service men and women through golf and help them gain employment through the sport.
