Where is stop and shop headquarters
Hate using self serve. Puts people out of work! The other day when I was shopping there they moved it to and end cap which has many shelves and it looked like a dump pile and very unappetizing. Not the right move to make.
Another shopper came up to look when I was there and he felt the same way. People have been called names, have been threatened including staff and staff have had things thrown at them, machines have been kicked, put cut ppl in line and management does nothing. This is highly unusual in most pharmacists. The Bloomfield NJ is absolutely disgusting.
From the lack of customer service to the rudeness and ridiculous lines! I live less than one block away but drive across town to go to Shop Rite or to Clifton for Stop and Shop!
I make cakes and everyone prefers whipped icing! Can you explain to me why all of a sudden your not allowing it to be sold when people like me who shop at your store pays full price for it???
My eyes glazed over, I left the ice cream at the register and I am now in search of a supermarket that offers the lowest sales price on items without store coupons, loyalty cards or electronic devices. Two things. When I questioned this was told that it is not a mandate. Just incredibly moronic and selfish.
The ladies room available to customers is disgustingly filthy. The cleaner does a cursory wipe down of the floor, but filth is embedded in the grout and around the edges of floor. Although I have shopped here for many years, no more. I am speaking of the store in Willimantic CT. For instance electric bill for a month is the solar panels would bring it down to a month. We can also do carports in parking lot with outlets for electric cars. They kicked us out despite the national emergency and no one supposed to be on the road.
Said his name softy when I asked Hernandez or Fernandez Hope to be able to make it home. I would rather not have to change my shopping location to the competitor across the street, whose carts are in perfect condition at all times. I hope you can remedy this condition. Thank you. This department in particular should be required to wear masks.
After all, they are slicing meat and cheese and breathing over it that I am going to take home and serve to my family. This department needs attention!!! Is there a distribution issue, or a shortage? Shop and shop in Fairfield CT on Aug 1. I had several winning tickets that came out to So in order not to keep going back and forth with this person I gave her the The manager had the print out he said that he would be right back ,a few minutes later the phone rang I guess it was him telling the clerk to give 7.
I am commenting on store in Whiting, NJ. This is a complaint. You used to have the best chiabatta and french bread. Few months back you changed it. Now you are going to start selling prepackaged meats. Not exceptable. Between my produce going bad in a few days an constantly having to check experation dates I very annoyed. There are young families living in this area too and I am tired of constantly driving to Manchester, Toms River, Brick, and Manahawkin to purchase my food.
I have WAWA for for my quick trips for milk or bread. I need a food store for a family of 5. My neighbors feel the same as I just read about the meat on a Facebook post.
Shame on you for charging such prices and now not giving the public fresh meat, vegetables and decent bread choices. Also, you need to stop having the public touch every single roll in the bins. I want u to know that ur store on Truman Pkwy in Hyde Park is the worst supermarket. The shelves r always half empty. It is the most depressing store. U r never going to sell merchandise thats not on the shelves.
Really grow up. There is a manager there who I feel is racist. I thought the store policy was you get the item for free, this has never happened. After he overrides he goes to this same lady and starts whispering. I also notice not much diversity and I witnessed a young black lady bagging and she has to stop bagging and go over to a register an wipe it down so a white young lady lady could come over and ring and she went back bagging to the same register she had left.
When you visit your stores that are not inner city you can tell the difference they are not as clean and not fresh food. I am looking for one of your employees called Luca Palombo that works as Transportation Manager on Wilton, CT because he bought a merchandise from my company, received the product and cancel the payment.
I have the receipt signed by him, but now he change his personal phone number for us to not reach him. So I decided to reach out his job because I believe Stop and Shop do not agree with this kind of attitude and I hope I can reach the HR or his boss to talk to him.
Today I was wronged but tomorrow it could be your company. Please help me because a dishonest person needs to know that there are consequences and cannot continue deceiving others. I went to a line with light illuminated to check out no one was at the register. The young woman at the self check out area informed a young man I was waiting to check out. The man approached punched the pad and said this line is closed the cashier forgot to turn off the light.
His tone and demeanor gave me the impression I was bothering him so I left the items and left the store. I returned to make a complaint to the manager the customer service representative called over the same person who had appeared to been disturbed by my waiting for the cashier to return. I am becoming increasingly disgusted with your store in Eastchester, NY. Every other week there is something with this store. Last Sunday I arrived at this store at 8 am.
Upon arrival I thought it strange there were no carriages out. The only carriages available were those tiny carriages that can just about hold a gallon of milk and one other item. I tried to shop. I went to the courtesy desk to ask if there were any large carriages.
Where are the large carriages? I decided since I had a busy Sunday, instead of leaving what few items I had I would try my best. Throughout the store, I can see people looking and asking the same question; where are the carriages. I check out and get to my car. Sure enough, people outside are looking and asking where are the large carriages. By the time I left at a. I took several pictures as I was disgusted. Add to this, the store was a mess again. U-boats throughout the ailes, empty boxes everywhere, and dirty towels left on the shelves.
Do you not have a crew of people that check the store at night or in the morning? I posted pictures of this mess as well. This store has gone down the toilet the last few years. My son refers to this place as Venezuela because far too frequently, the shelves are empty and no one is stocking the shevles.
I applied for a job at your store in Bayonne, NJ. They gave the job to a younger girl Which I thing that was very discriminatory towards me.. Shame on you. I was just at one of your stores waiting my turn at the deli department when I observed 2 employees having a conversation at the end of the deli counter. The gentleman employee was asking the woman employee a question about her date of employment, I heard him because he was extremely loud I was standing about feet away from them.
He was so loud and she was looking around and was embarrassed. He was asking her the date of employment and if it was before …. She said it again This was done on the sales floor.
Several other customers waiting with me could not believe the unprofessional way this was handled. I felt impelled to get the names of the 2 employees. The man was Mark the shop steward and the woman was Karen who told me she had been with the company 35 years.
I have been a manager in retail for years and this type of behavior is not acceptable on the sales floor. Conversation should be taken in the back where there is privacy. I thought you should know…. It was so bad I was waiting for a TV camera to come over and say it was not real……. My aunt is 86 and for the past 3 years we have also been shopping with her. Caesar is the Fish Dept person I always deal with when we shop on Saturday mornings.
He is always so kind and compassionate with my finicky aunt. During the pandemic my aunt has not been able to shop. So we have done her shopping for her. He always asks us how she is doing and asks us to say hello for him. Now my aunt has developed severe emphysema and is on oxygen and cannot walk even a few steps. She has had one Covid vaccination and we are waiting for her to have the second one. I do not know if she will ever be able to get back to the store. However every time we shop Caesar asks us if she needs salmon or her beloved tenderloin steak which must be cut in three thin slices so she can eat it!
You are a very luck organization to have such a kind and compassionate man working for you. He has certainly made an impression on my 86 year old very particular aunt and on my husband and myself.
I am grateful to have such a wonderful experience every single time I shop in that store on shopping Saturdays! Thank you for hiring Caesar! It was obviously one of your best decisions! The shelves have been empty with everything for at least since the pandemic started. The shelves are always very messy and the store is dirty and old. A shame such an upscale neighborhood have such a disgrace of a store.
I now shop at Shop Rite which is a beautiful store stocked with everything under the sun and very clean with very neat stocked shelves. Many of my neighbors have given up shopping at this location as well as there are many other beautiful supermarkets to shop in close to this Bay Terrace NY location. I am a food safety Specialist and shop in your store. Feel free to reach out to me,I would be happy to discuss a potential solution.
I was in your islandia ny store on dec 6th around pm. I had my grandchildren with me. Thank God I was not hurt. So when I got my grandkids in the car I called the store. I was told that they had security for shop lifters only and their store is safe well no its not and she said well I should have come to the front desk and I should have written out a report I should have call her.
Always pulled under his nose. I called the waiting for a response. I also contact my town health dept. Stop and shop in Middletown ct had customers with no masks on. I told manager and he announced on a speaker about masks.
These customers continued on with. I masks. Why so lazy and careless. I will refrain from shopping there for a bit. I frequent the Washingtonville NY store often as I live right around the corner. This store requires their patrons to go up one of the other aisle and then down aisle 8 For one check out line, they claim for our safety for social distancing purposes.
While waiting on line, 3 people walked up the aisle past me in order to get on line. When I asked the Attendant helping to direct patrons what sense it made to make us wait on one line if they were just going to allow others to brush right past me totally ignoring their social distancing practice and endangering everyone they walk past.
This is not the first time this has happened in this store but hopefully, by pointing it out to Corporate, it will be the last.
I take advantage of the Senior hours, typically arriving between am. Some are from the overnight shift who walk through the store without their mask when leaving, some are workers just arriving who walk into the store without their mask, and others are workers stocking shelves.
I once asked a worker who came into the store to start his shift where was his mask, and he did not answer and continued to walk through the store to the deli area. This is especially upsetting to me because it is during Senior hours, when the most vulnerable group is in the store.
I find most shoppers are complying, it is the workers of Stop and Shop who are not! The mask-mandate placard was in place at the entrance, but there was no one there to check if each person entering was complying. Sure enough, when we entered I saw two women not wearing masks. Saying nothing makes you complicit. I noticed two women NOT wearing masks. When I asked them why I was given a nasty response and told it was none of my business.
I immediately told the manager who said he would address the issue. My issue is that there is no one at the door making sure that all patrons are wearing a mask.
I will no longer enter the store if no one is enforcing the law. Please address this with the stores you are in charge of overseeing. They are still entitled to free and equal access at that establishment. Also, if they are not wearing a mask due to health reasons HIPPA protects a person from needing to disclose what the health reason is they are also under law entitled to free and equal access to the establishment that is open to the public. The Goveners mandates are not laws.
Laws have to pass through legislation and get voted in, then the Govener signs them in to law and they are assigned a number. Then, and only then do they become a law. I suggest that you familiarize yourself with how laws are made, and the difference between laws and mandates. Furthermore, I would advise you to mind your own business and not harass someone for not wearing a mask.
Harassing people is a matter that can bring legal action against you. I was at the Smithtown Main Street store today. One of the deli counter workers was wearing his mask below his nose and serving people. Also noticed shelf stockers not wearing their masks and other workers in the store with their masks not covering their faces. Earlier this summer, while checking out at this same store the cashier was wearing her mask below her mouth.
During this time of Covid it is imperative that the workers and customers wear their masks and wear them properly. You have big problem in your Smithtown store! New Jersey, Bloomfield, Franklyn Street. An employee with his mask under his chin was stacking meat. The girl who tells you where the next register is open removes her mask to relay the information. Plus she sends people up a down aisle to get on line. On Fridays evenings, a pay day there are only 3 cashiers working.
In , the company built the most technically sophisticated meat processing and distribution plant in its time in Marlboro, Massachusetts. In , the company built its first superstore in Springfield, Massachusetts. These Superstores were between 45, square feet and 80, square feet. In addition to traditional supermarket offerings, these stores featured bakeries, pharmacies, moderate selections of general merchandise one would not expect to find at a supermarket, such as hardware items or socks, expanded deli departments, cafes, and a salad bar.
Some of these stores would also contain a bank, expanded liquor sections, along with beer, and video rentals. In , the company was acquired by Dutch company Ahold and acts as a subsidiary.
The company introduced a smartphone app, along with a loyalty program and coupons in The company launched their own Facebook page in The company currently has locations and employs approximately 82, employees.
Headquarters remain in Quincy, Massachusetts. Annalee, Angela and Jennifer. Thank you. Bernard Steiner. They kicked us out despite the national emergency and no one is supposed to be on the road. Nice, huh? Hope to be able to make it home soon enough. Stop and shop in Bouth Boston Massachusetts takes advantage of workers with autism.
My son is a victim of this. They used his disability to convince him to do jobs that were not his to do for his 6 years there. Recently he had a problem where 3 of his teeth were broken and was in too much pain to work.
He could barely talk so he texted he would be out for a while due to pain and many dentists visits. They fired him and are withholding money that is owed to him. So many years of them taking advantage of his kindness they do this to him. But I will get them trust and believe I will. Shame on you south boston Massachusetts stop and shop. I was able to sign up my mom and my aunt… his older sisters.
They went to a food giveaway at the Local VA hospital.. We shop at Stop and Shop all the time and the giftcards came in so handy as my mom really does live on a fixed income. I cant thank you enough.. I do look forward to working of possible with stop and shop to help fight hunger… I would love to sit down and share some ideas I have with what we could partner to do in the community.
We have 2 stop and shop locations within walking distance of my school. Stop and Shop in Hicksville, NY has the best staff hands down. Waldeleine also works in the front end and she just has so much patience even when the store is very busy. She is kind and helpful whenever she is needed. The store is always stocked to the best ability and the front end staff are professional. Thank you all for doing your best. A check-out employee named Cesarina who works at Harvard St.
I just wanted to compliment her professionalism. The second employee indicated that they cleared my phone number from the pharmacy.
Those automated system calls regardless of any store that uses the system is defective. And calls customers with the wrong information. But corporations do it anyway, proves just how desperate corporations need to get a hobby. We live 20 miles from the coast , we have the whole east coast and stop n shop gets shrimp from Indonesia, you got to be kidding me. On Dec. Seeing that it was a tight week, using the rewards would be helpful. At the register, my app would not come up and I explained that I wanted to use my rewards.
The cashier had no idea what to do and the supervisor? I tried to get an explanation as to why, no one could tell me. I returned my bag of groceries. The CSR phone the night manager and they refunded me my money and sent me on my way. Another supervisor? All I wanted was a call back from either location to explain how under-trained the employees were. I did not receive a call that day. On Dec 22, , I called again and spoke to a woman named Renee. She said she would put the request through to all parties.
Explaining the whole story again, she said that Renee did not put the request through for me to be contacted and that Renee must be new and not know what she was doing. I just wanted a call back.
I did not receive a call back. I told them of my experience. They were surprised. I waited until this morning, Dec 29, , and called customer service again. I believe her name was Dominique? What is it that you want?
A gift card? More money? You just trying to people in trouble? I never sought any kind of monetary compensation for this. This person was accusing me and giving me such a bad attitude and was argumentative on top of it. She asked if I had called the store itself. I hung up on her as I was tired of listening to her argue with and berate me. I then called the Seekonk, MA, store and I spoke to a manager named, John, and told him the whole story.
He was mortified that his location was part of the problem and what I went through to let someone know what had happened. At the end of our conversation, he suggested I called the CSR department and speak to a manager there. This dreadful experience has shown me two sides of this corporation. The sneaky, lazy, negative side and the proper, professional side.
I can't remember his name either. The manager said I would be fine and told me he was going to handle the front! Mr Mazotas seemed to be right on the ball! He was kind and did his job right away! I told Mr Mazotas I didn't want to go through the whole story with him I just wanted to get out of the store and to my car. The young man who walked me out asked me what happened and I told him the whole story. I also told him to tell Mr Mazotas know what happened. I will never go back again.
I kept getting the same message Customer Service will be right with you, however, my call was Never answered so I just gave up calling. I was trying to get the names of the boy who checked me out after Carol walked away. I also wanted the name of the boy who walked me to my car. I wanted to be better informed so I could pass this information on to Copr. Your time and consideration to this letter is much appreciated. Thank you.
They lie and try and cover up for each other. My honest opinion is the Store is making items on sale, charging you morte than what they are worth. When I brought back an item the girl at the service counter call over a Rude and hatefull person and saidno way woud we sell this for a dollar.
The only reason it was purchaced was the fact that it was a dollar. The guy she called over took the box, walked away and came back with the label scratch partly off.
Thegirl at the service counter said I didn't see the sales sticker. I handed it to her she was first to see it and than she said I don't want to get involved and lied about seeing the stickeer. The guy that scratch off the sticker than wanted to lie about it also. The Manager refused to speak with me, The scratch off guy said tell her he's in a conference call. They could call back and forth with the manager including the girl as the service counter but he was in a meeting and didn't have the time for me.
Where there are lies and corruption at the top they have no choice but to hire the same kind of people in order to cover up for them. FIRE them. Then I go up to the self scanner to pay for all my groceries and the employee working the self scanner area come up to me and say im going to do an audit and scan a few of your item if there are more then 5 unscanned item your shoplifting!
I asked her if this was a joke! This morning on trip to stop and shop lynn ma my daughter along with her 5 children ages 1 to 11 was approached by the store manager and asked to please check her 11 year old pockets.
She was upset at such a request and stated that not only was she upset that she shops there almost daily and knows most of the employees by first name in and out of the store. That her children would never take what didn't belong to them. The manager stated that hears that all the time that not my child approach and insisted on her doing as she asked.
